Two listings on Home Avenue in Berwyn, shot back to back on the afternoon of October 21 for the Discover Berwyn team at Keller Williams ONEChicago. Same street, about two and a half miles apart: one down by the Depot District, one up near Roosevelt Road.
Both are Berwyn bungalows. That's about where the similarities stop.
3313 HOME AVENUE
A 1922 stucco bungalow a short walk from the Depot District and two BNSF Metra stations. Four bedrooms, hardwood through the main level, a fireplace in the living room, and a sunroom off the kitchen that opens onto the deck and a fenced backyard.
This is the one where the drone earned its spot. From the yard it's a quiet side street. From the air you get the train line, the neighborhood and the Chicago skyline on the horizon, which tells a buyer exactly where they'd be living in one frame.
1338 HOME AVENUE
A 1929 brick bungalow near the Roosevelt corridor that's been expanded and updated over the years: four bedrooms, three full baths and about 2,001 square feet. The living room gets big light through the octagon windows, the kitchen was redone in 2022, and the basement is a full second living space with a bar, a kitchenette and a rec room.
Houses like this are easy to undersell. Every room is solid, so the set can start to look the same. We shot each room toward the light and gave the basement the same attention as the main floor, because for a lot of buyers that bar is the room they'll remember.
WHAT WE SHOT
